FreshAir 2011 will be holding an extensive learning programme in collaboration with New Brewery Arts, Cirencester, for more than 850 school children during the three-week exhibition period. It will include tailored workshops for primary, secondary, disabled and special needs schools.

The goals of the Fresh Air Education programme are:

  • Enable collaborations with schools, art centres and art colleges
  • Encourage children to make and exhibit work as a result of visiting the FreshAir sculpture show and participating in workshops
  • Encourage children to appreciate the arts, and more importantly see themselves as artists and/or collectors
  • Provide an opportunity for art students to exhibit in a public forum, meet and discuss their work with children on the education programme and members of the public
